Why we built this
Finding a dentist you actually trust should not be hard. Yet for most Canadians it means asking friends, scrolling through maps, and hoping for the best. We thought that was wrong.
Every province in Canada maintains a public register of licensed dentists. That data is accurate, official, and legally required to be public. Your Local Dental brings it together in one place so that when you search for a dentist in Calgary, Edmonton, or Charlottetown, you are looking at names sourced directly from the ADAC, RCDSO, or DCPEI registers. Not a scraped list, not advertising. The real register.
But the data is just the foundation. Our goal is the match. We want every Canadian to find the right dentist for their needs, their neighbourhood, and their family.

Every listing starts from a provincial or territorial regulatory registry. When a dentist claims their profile, we go further — confirming the practice is a legitimate operating clinic, reviewing real patient feedback, and assessing reported treatment outcomes before the verified badge is applied.
